Joel Mendelson, AIA, has had an 18-year career serving clients on both coasts of the United States, Europe and the Middle East. His business is rooted locally with M/AP, a Bay Area architecture and site design firm with a focus on residential, commercial and institutional projects of a contemporary nature.
M/AP brings a breadth of residential, commercial, and institutional design experience at multiple scales and mixes of uses, and will work quickly to find the hidden potential of an existing house, lot, or building. Our style is clean and modern, with respect for traditional building forms. Our experience allows us to work on projects that dovetail traditional and modern seamlessly.
M/AP will expertly guide you through the design and construction process, and will help you to avoid its pit-falls. Whatever your scope or design need, we’ll endeavor to keep the process straight forward, intelligent, fun, and builder-friendly. The first visit is always our pleasure.
